Austin left the offense at home for this one. Two unearned runs in the top of the first was all the Bulldogs could manage. Scott Duncan and Eric Schweiger reached on errors by Viking outfielders. They were at second and third when AJ Glasshoff hit a sharp grounder to short. The ball was thrown by the first baseman scoring two runs. AJ did a great job keeping the Vikings off balance at the plate. The Vikings managed 1 run in the bottom of the second with back-to-back singles and a sac fly. With the Bulldogs clinging to a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the 5th the Vikings put up 2 runs to take the lead for good. In the top of the 7th Tyler Simon reached on an error by the second baseman. The next 3 batters struck out to end the game.
