Bulldogs go "k-yard" on Knights. AJ Glasshoff and Scott Duncan provided the k's, Clint VanTilborg and Matt Hills the yard. Big hits and overpowering pitching spell "blow-out" for the Knights tonight. Of the 21 outs for the Knights, 18 were by strikeout. (13 by AJ and 5 by Scott). The Bulldogs got on the board in the first inning when Rocky Branagan lead off with a double to left that went off the left fielders glove in deep left. Scott Duncan followed with a liner to right scoring Rocky. In the third inning Scott and Matt got things started with singles. With 1 out AJ brought in Scott with a single to right. With 2 outs Clint hit a single up the middle of the infield scoring Matt. After 3 innings the Bulldogs lead 3-0. With 1 out in the 4th Rocky reached on error, Scott with a single and Matt was on with a walk. With the bases loaded Eric S knocked in a run with a single. With 2 out and bases loaded Eric was hit by pitch bringing in Scott and making the score 5-0. Clint was next to the plate and delivered the "knock-out" shot over the "Grey Monster" in center field. The Grand Slam made the score 9-0. Matt Hills added a solo shot to almost the same spot in straight away center scoring the final run for the Bulldogs.

Scott Duncan came in to pitch the 6th and 7th and got 5 of 6 out by strikeout. One unearned run in the bottom of the 6th was the only bright spot for the Knights.
