Bulldogs broke open a close game, tied 2-2 with a 4 run 6th to win 6-2. Tyler Simon went 4 strong innings giving way to Scott Duncan with a 2-1 lead. The Cougars added an unearned run in the top of the 5th. With the score tied 2-2 in the bottom of the 6th, Eric H reached on an error by the second baseman. Tyler drew a walk. Gavin then hit a slow roller to the pitcher who attempted to get Eric at 3rd. The fielder at 3rd did not have his foot on the bag!!!, everyone safe...bases loaded. Rocky then delivered his second hit of the evening, a soft liner to left center scoring Eric. Bases still loaded. WILD PITCH...Tyler scores making it 4-2. Scott then drew a walk loading the bases for Matt. Matt hit a grounder to short that was fielded cleanly and thrown home to get Gavin by a step and Matt was safe at first. But wait... Gavin hit the catchers foot and he stepped on home. The umpire throws Gavin out of the game and rules Matt out at first..we are still scratching our collective heads. Now with 2 outs and runners at 2nd and 3rd, Eric S drives a deep fly to left center. The centerfielder misses and 2 runs score.

Scott pitched the top of the 7th giving up a meanless single, with 2 k's and a fly out to Tyler in center. Bulldogs love cougar meat.

Oh Yeah, Eric Hughes got HBP in his first AB tonight making it 4 in a row...oooouch!!!!! ("Golden Welts" + 1)
