Rangers Steal Victory From Dawgs

This was an exciting game to watch. Clements got out to an early lead . Combining 2 walks, a single and a double, the Rangers posted 3 runs in the bottom of the first. Austin went down in order to start the game, then got the bases loaded in the top of the second with 1 out, but was unable to push a run across. Clint VanTilborg got the Bulldogs on the board in the 4th reaching on error by the 3rd baseman. Tyler Simon hit a well placed grounder between 1st and 2nd and beat out the throw which got by

the 1st baseman moving Clint to 3rd. Luke Mulcahey hit a deep sac fly to center scoring Clint. A pitching change for the Bulldogs in the bottom of the 4th. AJ took over on the mound and Tyler moved to center. AJ held Clements scoreless for the next 3 innings. In the top of the 5th, Matt Hills got things started with a single to left center. He moved up to second on an error. AJ then reached on error by the 2nd baseman scoring Matt making the score 3-2 Clements.

Dawgs could on manage a base-on-balls by Scott Duncan in the 6th setting up a wild finish in the 7th. AJ lead off the 7th with a single to left, followed by Eric Schweiger with a single down the right field line. With one out and runners at 1st and 2nd "One-Punch" Tyler stepped to the plate and "KO'd" a 2-2 offering to deep right center scoring AJ and Eric. Bulldogs take a one run lead into the bottom of the 7th.

AJ struck out the first Rangers, then got into trouble giving up a single and 2 walks to load the bases. The #4 batter for Clements delivered a single bring home 2 runners giving the Rangers the victory.
