Bulldogs Roll Over Vikings, 14-4
The Bulldogs put it to the Dulles Vikings Monday afternoon to even out their district
record to 1-1.
The scoring frenzy started in the second inning when the Dogs racked up 5 consecutive
hits (singles by 1B Jared Boyle, 3B Tyler Hopson, C Chris Miller, SS Cody Brown
and a double by DH Sean Pringle) and 5 runs. They never looked back and continued
adding up runs.
The Vikings tried to mount a rally in the bottom of the second with a lead off
walk, followed by 2 of their 3 hits. But P James Sullivan quickly shut down the
Vikings with a pick off at third and 2 K's. He would end four of the five innings
with a strike out.
